BILL & TED FACE THE MUSIC Has Snagged Over $30M on PVOD

Galaxy Quest director Dean Parisot’s delightful Bill & Ted Face the Music with Alex Winter and Keanu Reeves recently hit Premium VOD. And today we’ve learned just how much the film snagged using this format since it opened on August 28th.

Are you ready? On PVOD, Bill & Ted Face the Music has snagged around $32M. Impressive, right? Plus the movie has gathered up around $3.3M in theaters.

Not bad. Especially considering the bogus adventure only cost an estimated $25M.

Directed by Dean Parisot (Galaxy Quest) Bill and Ted Face the Music stars Alex Winter and Keanu Reeves as Bill and Ted, enduring the monotony of middle-aged life when they are warned by a visitor from the future that they need to create a song in 78 minutes that will save all life in the entire universe. The pair work with their families, old friends, famous musicians, and each other to complete the task.

Samara Weaving (Ready or Not) co-stars with Brigette Lundy-Paine, Kristen Schaal, Anthony Carrigan, Kid Cudi, Jillian Bell, and William Sadler as Grim Reaper.
