Just finished watching this a couple of hours ago. It was a pretty damn brutal and badass flick! Mel is like a Bostonian version of Martin Riggs in this film. Except he doesn't have any funny one-liners. And Ray Winstone has a scene towards the end that had me grinning from ear-to-ear in it's awesomeness! You know what I'm talking about!
Now that I've seen it, I can say that it really didn't deserve the thrashing it received from critics. |

| I can see what it got trashed by some critics. I liked the movie over all, but the big conspiracy thing got a bit too much for the movie. Gibson was pretty fantastic in it, even if his accent was a bit much. |
