Masterpiece. |
I don't think it's Miyazaki's best, but it's still pretty fucking good. |
Miyazaki's best: My Neighbor Totoro |
I prefer Castle in the Sky |
VERY good but not my fav. |
His movies are all so good that I think it really comes down to personal preference |
That's a fact. It's like choosing one of your children. You love them all. |
Love Miyazaki.
Even Ponyo was good. |
I have Ponyo but I've heard good things.
Ever seen Porco Rosso? It's a great movie. |
Still on the "Movies to see" list.
I have started watching everything I can get my hands on that made the list at Fantasia (all the years, still compiling the list as I do not have the past schedules/books anymore), and this was played a few years ago I believe. |

I watched The Imaginarium of Dr. Parnassus (sp?) and thought it was a total trip and not as Monty Python as I thought it would be and speaking of Monty Python I want to see the musical of Life of Brian they did, not sure if it's out already.
I also saw Alice in Wonderland which again was a trip and I didn't dislike the 3rd act like alot of people did. I thought the Jabberwocky was pretty cool. |

Jeunet's newest, Mic Macs... holy fuck was it great. I fucking love Jeunet. Not quite as emotional as A Very Long Engagement, but then it's a different kind of story... it's much more like Amelie, with schemes and drawn out plans, but for revenge, not love. Beautifully directed, wonderfully acted, fantastic script.
go see it now. _________________ mods, kindly delete my account |

I think I shall. Amelia and A Very Long Engagement are great movies. Oh, and City of Lost Children was cool, too. Alien IV not so much. _________________ http://jt976evl.dvdaf.com/owned?rc=1 |

The Last Airbender
lowered expectations helped a lot.
it's a bad movie, but not "6% on Rotten Tomatoes" bad |

Watched a bunch of stuff this weekend, mostly while doing laundry, the dishes, cleaning out the guestroom, ... So I watched movies but missed parts of most of them...
So, the lastest ones were, the 3 Pirates of the Caribbean movies. |
