Crap, crap, crap, and entertaining. |
Rambo? Crap?
You're such a vag, man. You know that?
Face/Off, however, is some unmitigated bullshit. |

Dude now open up a beer, scratch yourself, smack a girl's ass and complete the cliche.
Rambo is pointless crap period. And I find more entertaining that people think it has actual social commentary to it. Hysterical! _________________ ----------

| And Die Hard is one of the greatest action movies ever made. Possibly the greatest. Whenever it's on tv, I've got to watch it. |

It's good. Not the best. That honor goes to Hard Boiled. But still: good. _________________ ----------

I'm not trying to knock action movies... just not my cup of meat, generally speaking... they can be fun little time wasters here and there... I'm glad other people enjoy them... I'm just more of a monster movie, samurai and screwball-comedy-from-the-40's type of guy. _________________ mods, kindly delete my account |

I'm not a big action nut either. My dad raised me on all of that. He introduced me to a lot of really bad and really good action flicks. _________________ ----------

| Wait a second... are talking Rambo as in Rambo 4 or Rambo as in First Blood? Because First Blood is one of the best action movies ever made. |

And Rambo 4 was fucking amazing.
Name me one other sequel, made aftrer a hiatus of 15 years, that turned out even half as watchable as Rambo. I'm sure there are one or two, but it's a pretty fucking rare occurrence. Lost Boys 2 comes to mind. Also, Escape From LA. |

Oh, Rambo was definitely a great movie, and I enjoyed the hell out of it, but it's not nearly as good as First Blood. Much better than Rambo: First Blood Part 2, and Rambo 3 though.
But seriously... fuck the titles of these movies. |

| The most perplexing thing to me in this thread is Emy mentioning Liam Neeson. Hah, did I miss something? |

Liam has been in a lot of action movies. It's not that surprising. _________________ Close the case before the coffin. |

One of the first films I remember him in was Excalibur. And don't forget about Darkman. _________________ Close the case before the coffin. |

We saw the trailer in front of Kick-Ass and I can't wait to see it. I love Dolph Lundgren, Statham, Li, ...
Some of the cast is "iffy" to me, but most of it is great!
It's missing maybe a few more international guys... Like Tony Ja, Van Damme, Cyril Raffaelli, David Belle, Kaneshiro (he should just be in everything), Liam Neeson, ... And a few more ladies Wei Zhao, Shu Qi, Anne Parillaud...
I also have a few fav "bad guys" that could have been used like Tcheky Karyo, Jean Reno, ... |
I was thinking of some of those poeple as well. It would have been nice to see Van Damage in this one in particular and maybe a cameo by Steven Seagal breaking someone's arm. |
I read they both (Van Damme and Seagal) passed on the opportunity. Might explain the 2 I feel are out of place in there (a clue, they were not originally actors, but still entertainers). |
