Think of Dead Alive mixed with Lethal Weapon, but more b-grade and outrageously '80s. You really should try it out and be ready to laugh at it, but also with it.

in 2005 it was adapted into a stage play, that would be a blast to see.

This movie could very easily be adapted to fit in our modern times using internet critics and film bloggers as victims. Just think of Uwe boxing his critics.
