I like the new Doctor (then again the only one I didn't like was Colin Baker) and I was very impressed with the new companion.
found the first episode weak but to be fair most of the Doctors had weak first stories.
SPOILERS BELOW:
Hated the ending, despite the greatness of the new companion, it looks like they're going with the same story arc that Rose had (leaves wimpy boyfriend behind to run off with some alien). |

Actually, I got more of a Donna Noble vibe - except, you know, this time she's hot and doesn't irritate the fuck out of me with every word she speaks. |

I liked Donna, but this new chick is hot. _________________ "Sigh. Malachi, Conan is a fictional character, Dungeon Masters are real, hard-working people..." - Chainsaw

Fuck yes, she is. I just wish they could've found an excuse to keep her in that little policewoman's get-up a little longer. I could watch her run away from shit in that miniskirt all day long.
New episode kind of reminded me of that Tennant episode with Simon Pegg in it, but the ending totally set it apart. Space whales are fucking awesome. |

Those new Daleks look dumb as fuck. I kind of want to smack whoever came up with that idea.
Does make me want to give those Peter Cushing 'Who' flicks a spin, though. If I can find 'em. I don't even think Netflix carries the things. |

I don't mind the slight redesign, i'm just not really sure what's up with the different colors. _________________ "Sigh. Malachi, Conan is a fictional character, Dungeon Masters are real, hard-working people..." - Chainsaw

To my knowledge, the toys don't sell like hotcakes. _________________ "Sigh. Malachi, Conan is a fictional character, Dungeon Masters are real, hard-working people..." - Chainsaw

That's not surprising. Although, of the toys that DO sell, I'll bet their daleks are always pretty near the top of the list. So, "now, there are 5 brand new daleks to choose from!!!"
What they need to do is make a Sonic Screwdriver cigarette lighter, damn it. I've been looking for that and/or one that looks like a fucking lightsaber forever. You'd think someone would have made at least one of those things, by now. Just makes too much sense not to. |

| I picked up the Tom Baker figure. Scarf and all. Very cool. I'm enjoying Smith as the 11th. Good stuff. The Angels 2 parter was pretty damn good. |
