Spooky LOONEY TUNES Short POSTALGEIST Released Online

A spooky new Looney Tunes short film was released during the virtual Comic-Con panel for the Looney Tunes Cartoons series on HBO Max, and fans will love it. The short is titled Postalgeist, and it begins at 19:59 in the player below.
Postalgeist features Daffy Duck and Porky Pig delivering a package to the aptly named Terror Inn on a dark and stormy night. Being the cowardly pig he is, Porky naturally wants to turn back, but Daffy is determined to deliver the package so he can earn a five-star rating online. When the duo eventually arrive at the haunted inn, they are terrorised by a vengeful ghost who does not appreciate being disturbed at such an hour.
Daffy was voiced by Eric Bauza in the short, with Bob Bergen providing the voice of Porky, and they both do convincing impressions of the great Mel Blanc. Director David Gemmill has also directed various episodes of Looney Tunes Cartoons, so he clearly has a strong understanding of the characters.
Despite being a franchise aimed at kids, Looney Tunes is known for featuring slightly more edgy humour than the Disney Mickey Mouse cartoons which they were originally created to rival, and Postalgeist is no exception. We see Porky being tortured, and we even see demons from Hell emerging to torment him in an elevator. Postalgeist will probably creep kids out, but they are bound to love it nonetheless. This could easily be one of the best Looney Tunes shorts released by Warner Bros. in recent years.
