A bit of scary news has come in concerning horror master John Carpenter. The legendary director has undergone emergency surgery in Nashville to correct a detached retina. Do not fret, though! He’s as feisty as ever.
John’s wife, Sandy, called us tonight to let us know of the situation and to assure his many fans that he is fine and is already on the road to recovery. In fact, the only thing that he’s complaining about is missing a scheduled Q&A this weekend because he didn’t want to let anyone down. Typical Carpenter, man.
We here at Dread Central join in with his many friends to wish John an incredibly speedy recovery. Hang in there, brother! Lots of love!
