I've trouble using words like "best" with films; it's too subjective an artform and there's so much good stuff out there.
However, yeah, Donnie Darko's up there, for sure. Great friggin' movie!

I love this movie. Love. As in mad, passionate, make out with the DVD box love.
I personally prefer the original release to the director's cut... but only because I felt that the director's cut explained things that didn't need to be explained. One of my favorite things about that movie is the ambiguity.
It's got great acting, directing, dialogue, story.... soundtrack. It looks good.
I honestly can't think of one thing I didn't like about this movie.

Donnie Darko is a favorite of mine. I can watch it over and over again and still get teary eyed in the last montage played to "Mad World".

Yeah, that verson of Mad World gives me goosebumps now. And good shivers.
That movie has a great soundtrack from start to finish.

My favorite line is probably the one about the 'stupid man suit'. Gave me chills the first time I heard it.

Great movie.. but I think my bf has the most love of it.. he got the time stamp tattoo'd on his arm much like Donnie wrote on his lol (and it actually looks pretty awesome)

That is awesome.
Any movie where you know what's going to happen after watching it, and it still makes you a little depressed when it happens, and also UPLIFTS you at the same time, is OK in my book.

| I finally broke down and watched it this past week at DOTD's house - I loved it. Great movie, and I also teared up at the end with Mad World playing. |
