Lights Out and Annabelle: Creation director David F. Sandberg has snagged his next horror movie in the form of Lionsgate’s The Culling.
It centers on a troubled priest who confines himself to a remote cabin in the middle of the woods where he attempts to make a last stand against the demon that terrorized his family when he was a child.
Sandberg & Lotta Losten will produce Stephen Herman’s spec script with Chris Bender and Jake Weiner. Scott Stoops is executive producer. Aaron Janus and Aaron Edmonds are overseeing the project for Lionsgate.
