And yes it's hilariously juvenile that he's forbidden to throw shots at the network or any individuals involved in the network. Wah he's mocking us! Wah!

For that much money I think moving on and shutting up sounds like a swell idea.

Nah it really isn't. It's immature is what it is.

And with that... Conan is gone from our lives.

I really got choked up watching the final episode.

Conan was obviously overwhelmed with sadness. It was in his face the entire show, but man he went out with a bang.

And his speech to everyone was so incredible.

I really enjoyed Conan and his brand of humor for many years. The man simply took everything he was in and made it his own and I hope we get to see him on another show where he can spread the love with a new audience in a network that appreciates him.

I'll be crossing my fingers.

Fuck you NBC. I'm done watching your network.

That rendition of Free Bird was incredible and seeing Conan doing the solo too with the ZZ Top guy was amazing too. NBC is gonna be kaput soon. Heroes is next on the chopping block I hear, and Leno is gonna tank when he comes back on the Tonight Show. I don't see how anyone would want to go on there now after this considering the amount of celebrities that were on Team Conan.

I can't feel too bad for the guy when he gets a $20 million severance deal.

It's sucked since Season 3-now and the ratings have plummeted. There's been rumors of cancellation for a while now.

All this started me thinking about the winter Olympics and wondering if anyone actually cares about it. Winter sports are incredibly boring to watch to me and I don't understand why it's aired on national TV anymore. It could easily be relegated to ESPN 2 or something and I doubt many people would notice.

I can't get enough of the summer Olympics though.

Wow, the final episode was very funny, and actually quite touching too.

Conan's last little speech made me tear up a little bit. It truly is an end of an era.

And as of right now, NBC has absolutely nothing that interests me on their programming. Nothing. Could care less about Leno, The Office is terrible now, Heroes doesn't need an explanation of why it sucks, and so on and so on. They are in some trouble now, and I'm curious just how much longer the peacock is going to last.

Part of me wishes they go down in screaming flames, but then the other half me knows that NBC is not entirely represented by the execs that made these awful decisions in the past few months. There has to be others who work under them that would never had let this happen.

We can only hope that those people take over at some point and get NBC back on track. Then again, maybe it's too late. Who knows.

All I know is, as of right now, they fucked up. Sad

NBC has been a fascinating thing since even before Conan's shafting. The gradual breakdown of their Thursday line up, their history for mistreating shows, their history for ripping off shows, and their current lackluster programming is all just so interesting.

BUT they do still have a few gems. 30 Rock is great, Chuck is great, and... well, they had Seinfeld. Heh.

30 Rock's great, Community's off to a pretty strong start, and Chuck's (sadly) the only thing on Monday nights. That's pretty much the state of the NBC line-up to me.

That said, that's more than I watch on any other broadcast network. Except maybe ABC, after next week. Can't miss an episode of Lost, the Scrubs reboot's been surprisingly solid, the few times I've caught it, and I Hulu the hell out of Better Off Ted every week (never seem to catch it live). That show kind of reminds me of a Brit-com, the writing's so sharp. Shame nobody else watches it.

Saw part of the first episode, but it just didn't seem like my bag. Too 'suburban,' I guess.

I might have to do the same to check it out.

I love Brit-coms.
