Heh, in a weird turn of events, one of my good friends ended up in them. He's the new kid they have on lead guitar. Funny, because he is really a throwback to the 70s/80s. Dave Rude. Man he can fucking killlllllllll.

Totally agreed. I was "introduced" to Dave Rude when I saw him for the first time on Tesla's COMIN' ATCHA LIVE dvd.

Big, big fan here. He does indeed kick ass. Super-cool "look," too.

Yeah, Dave is rad. His look is really him. I always thought he would be perfect in power pop gods Redd Kross.

Awesome! Have you guys seen this? From a recent radio-station appearance:

My favorite song off FOREVER MORE, no less.

That's great. It is a good song I agree. As always with Tesla love the guitar. Forever More is a very solid album. Lots of ballads like you said but as heavy as I like music to be it seems I'm always drawn to the slower songs anyway. Hell, like I mentioned before my favorite Tesla album is 5 Man Acoustical Jam which I haven't run across since I moved out of my house. Might have to hit up Amazon for it again. When I worked at Tower Records and someone would come in looking for guitar driven music I always suggested Tesla along with Porcupine Tree.

Ordered 5 Man Acoustical Jam today also. Can't wait to hear it again.
