Apollo 13 isn't sci-fi.

Again, I know it isn't but figured the thread was pretty much dead anyway and didn't feel like creating a thread just for that movie although it's a great enough movie and story to warrant further discussion if anyone else was interested in it but I didn't think anyone would be.

Now that's a run on.

Outlander. Cliched all around, but watchable.

Nah. It's a new film with Jim James Caviezel. You're thinking of Outland.

Outlander kicks ass!

I did watch Apollo 13 that night. It just looks so amazing on HD-DVD, not sure if its been released on Blu-ray. It's one of the most incredible stories. I watched a bunch of the extras as well and some of the actual people that were involved still get choked up and are brought to tears just thinking about it. The movie does it right too. One of those movies that is written, acted, directed and shot so perfectly I can't find a single frame wrong. Yeah, even Bill Paxton is pretty good.

I can't even imagine what must have been going through their minds. I would have been a basket case. Maybe why I didn't become an astronaut.
