Todd Phillips’ Joker origin story is already getting Oscar buzz following a couple of impressive festival screenings. The film hits theaters nationwide on October 4th and, today, producers released a firey IMAX poster for the film. Have a look-see below.

Synopsis:
Failed comedian Arthur Fleck encounters violent thugs while wandering the streets of Gotham City dressed as a clown. Disregarded by society, Fleck begins a slow descent into madness as he transforms into the criminal mastermind known as the Joker.
Joker stars Joaquin Phoenix, Zazie Beetz, and Robert De Niro.
