I concur.

The motion capture looks alot better than I thought it would. It better, given how long he's been working on this film.

Given his track record, I trust Cameron and am really looking forward to this.

I think my brain just had an orgasm. Embarassed

I'm so fucking stoked to see Cameron doing sci-fi again.

I wish I could be excited like the rest of you, but the trailer did absolutely nothing for me. The Na'vi look really cartoonish in my eyes. They also look very similar to those creatures from the Dark Crystal film. The name of the creature escapes me at the moment.

Hopefully the full film will change my mind.

It works much better on the big screen. As it should.

They do look cartoony. I'm OK with that. It feels like a fantasy film married to sci-fi. And I can see why you think they remind you of Gelflings, but they really don't look like them at all.

It looked incredible.

Leading up to it, I really couldn't care any less. I still suffer from Titanic fatigue. But my jaw was dropped throughout the trailer. I was amazed, and can't wait to see it.

I saw 27 minutes of the film at Comic Con, and let me tell you, this movie is a work of art. I have no idea how the story telling will be, but the sheer beauty and look of it made my eyes water.

I am so damn excited I can barely contain myself.

I haven't seen or read a thing about this movie and I don't have to. It's James Cameron.

I don't think so.

You might be thinking of Avatar: The Last Airbender (http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0417299/ )
This one is being adapted by Mr. Shyamalaladingdong as The Last Airbender: http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0938283/

Oh and, for my opinion, there is nothiing bad in looking like a Gelfling, Gelflings are awesome!

I thought these forums were for informed people? I mean, how can you have an interest in genre films like this to the point where you going to post on a forum and NOT know that Cameron's Avatar isn't even remotely connected to the cartoon. This movie has been in the works for about 4 years or more.

I like horror movies. I don't really pay attention to pre-release stuff.

I don't know a fucking thing about this movie because I don't want to until I see it. That's not being uninformed. It's a choice.
