I was thinking long and hard about The Venture Brothers. My favorite eps are the ones written by, or have contributions from Edlund (The Tick). Some of the po-mo stuff seems a little too forced at times for me, overall. I was also thinking about Metalocalypse but it started to 'loose it' a little in the second season. I absolutely love Squidbillies though. I'm a big Unknown Hinson fan.

I think Venture Bros is pretty much the perfect show... I love Metalocalypse, but it doesn't make my top ten... and I agree that it loses something in the second season 100%... I think Pickles is too drunk throughout  .
I am also a big Sealab 2020 fan, but that fell apart after the first season as well... sometimes it got TOO bizarre for no reason at all except to be bizarre.

I wasn't aware of such a thing as too drunk. Oh wait...I'm married and seen my wife before. Which is kinda cute actually.
