So I watched this for the first time probably about 8 years last night. I had forgotten how god damned good this movie is.

I found myself somewhat less interested in what is the main love story of the movie, though, and far more interested in the other characters.

My friend had never seen it before so we sat down and watched it. I need to buy it.

I really enjoy this movie except it has what is the most pretentious piece of filmmaking I've ever seen in my life. What part? The fucking plastic bag in the wind. Utter crap in an otherwise good movie.

Kevin Spacey is brilliant. I actually liked every character in the movie which is what makes it so great. The Dad is the most sane person in the movie.

I thought she was pretty hot AND a virgin. Something like that doesn't come along for a man having a mid-life crisis everyday.

Yeah, he was. BTW, that role was offered to Chevy Chase initially. He turned it down, obviously.

Even though I never saw the big deal about Mena Suvari, I can understand why Spacey's character would want to pound her in to submission.

This is one of my favorite movies of all time.
