This game is fucking....SICK! If you combined a Spider-Man game, a Hulk game, and a horror film, you'd get Prototype. I'm only two hours in and I'm having a blast. The graphics aren't the best I've seen, but they're far from ugly. The gameplay is the main selling point.
A+ for Gameplay, B+ for Graphics. Definite buy though. |

Spider-Man 2+ Hulk Ultimate Destruction+ horror= Holy shit.
If what you say is true, I may just have to spend $60 this weekend... |

| OK, someone has to review this game. It's like Hulk Ultimate Destruction and The Thing (yes, The Thing) made sweet, sweet love in the back of my Pinto and this was the end result. It's close enough to horror that you guys really should give it a shot. |

The Hulk and the Thing making sweet sweet love is the most horrifying mental image ever...

It always comes down to time, but I'm sure one of us will hit it sooner or later. Me? I'm officially a Ghostbuster at midnight tonight, so my gaming schedule is booked. _________________ Mr. Dark

Wow......just........wow....
ANYWAY. Fuck Prototype I don't have the patience for a game that has no clear objectives and omniscient enemies with flawless aim are in never ending supply. I'm REALLY good at video games beating most in a matter of days on the hardest difficulty and I was on one mission for about 3 hours. The only other games I flat out stopped playing because of this kind of shit were Driver 2 and Stuntman. |

As well as situations where precise targeting is near impossible due to an erratic camera and hordes of enemies and objects. This game had alot of potential, sadly it was executed poorly. |

| I played it, beat it, and haven’t picked it back up since. There's just no real point to continue playing after beating the game. You can't really explore because if you loiter anywhere for a second to long either infected monsters or the damn military are trying to kill you – and by the time I evade either of them I can’t remember what I was doing or where I was. The whole ‘super duper fun’ of just killing everything with no real purpose or need wears really thin really fast. Prototype is a horribly shallow gaming experience. Can't believe I wasted $60 on it. |

There's actually something kinda fun and cathartic about jumping from the Empire State Building and smashing into the ground and clearing out a bunch of bad guys.
Just saying, is all.
I wish there was more to the game, but it's fun in it's own right. A Prototype movie would be better serving to the story, I think. And the Overdrive moves are mind-blowing. _________________ Kate, Honey, I may be a bastard, but I'm not a fucking bastard.
