My ex still has alot of hmy stuff at her house. She gives me a box of stuff occasionally. I think it's pretty cool because I never know what I'm going to find. Anyway, the box she gave me a couple of days ago has some great stuff in it. I've been listening to the CD's all day. Here's a rundown of what I got and what I've listened to......

Talking Heads box set with 8 kickass albums that I had totally forgotten about.

The Doors: Bright Midnight - Love the doors.

Faith No More: Who cares alot

Rob Zombie: Past, Present and future

Halford: Resurrection - If you think his voice is going listen to the opening of the title track. He sounds amazing. Silent Screams is also awesome.

Filter: Short Bus - I can be allowed one quilty pleasure dammit.

The Flaming Lips: Yoshimi Battles the Pink Robots.

The Vines: Highly Evolved - meh, I could take 'em or leave 'em.

Kate Bush: Aerial - It might be easier to get into than the phenominal Hounds of Love.

Thrice: Vheissu - I can't remember why I bought this one. I listened to the entire album and nothing clicked with me. It's not bad though.

Jane's Addiction: Ritual De Lo Habitual - A classic.

Dream Theatre: Live at Budokan

Dream Theatre: Train of thought.

Opeth: Blackwater Park

DLR Band: Ok maybe two guilty pleasures

Porcupine Tree: On the Sunday of Life...

Porcupine Tree: Coma Divine - Live in Rome. A really amazing live album.

No-Man: Heaven Taste - Another one of Steven Wilson of PT's side projects of which he has many. He doesn't sing on this one a different guy does. It's different enough so you know it isn't PT.

Right now I'm going through my Slayer box set.

The box also had My Scarface LE in their that comes in the alligator skin-like box.

There's more CD's in their but I want to watch Jurrasic Park III.

We care a lot about disasters, fires, floods, and killer bees.

Interesting mix of things there. Some of it I like, some I'm not too crazy about, but Opeth and Faith No More are pretty boss imo.

I've been listening to a lot of FNM lately too. Specifically the album "King for a Day, Fool for a Lifetime."

I'm thinking of recording a cover of "the Gentle Art of Making Enemies."

LOVE that song, but Just a Man is the best song on the album, no contest. Be sure to throw it up on Youtube or something so we can hear it.

Just a Man is a great one too. I really love that album.

I'll probably end up tossing the song on my music myspace. Haha, thanks for the interest.

This is one of the best songs of all time. Surely I love to hear it again and again. :
