Malachi made me aware of this I had no idea it had even come out.

This is a fantastic movie. For $15 you get the movie and the concert on 2 DVD's. Fucking amazing. I don't care if it's Chicago, Asia, Australia or Mexico, Maiden fans are the same everywhere. I have seen Iron Maiden more than any other band. I've missed very few tours and they kick as much ass today as they did the first time I saw them. Maiden concerts always amaze me at how diverse the ages are. From old guys like me who have been listening to them since their first album, pretty much my whole life to young kids who remind me of myself when I was first experiencing Iron Maiden. Have I said fucking amazing yet?

There's those that say their last several albums weren't all that good but fuck that I love them all well except for Virtual XI which was an abortion and without Bruce.

This tour is an amazing feat and just proves that not only are Iron Maiden THE best metal band in the world but also that Bruce Dickinson is The best metal vocalist in history and still sound fucking amazing.

As long as Iron Maiden is around I know that metal is still alive and well and all this Numetal bullshit has not killed it yet although it's trying its damdest.

I fucking love Iron Maiden.

I picked up the soundtrack too. I have every Maiden album they've put out. Typically I don't get into live recordings. Pink Floyd and Iron Maiden are the exceptions. Pink Floyd is just about as studio perfect as a band can get live and the audience is normally quietly in awe. The crowds for Iron Maiden get into the music and Bruce is very interactive, I enjoy that.

I absolutely love "Pink Floyd - Is There Anybody Out There?: The Wall Live 1981"...AMAZING album!

Oh, how I wish I was born early enough in the 20th century to have experienced that tour!!!!

Don't feel too bad, ya old fart. Until you start seeking out early bird specials, you got nothing to worry about. Now go drink some Ensure and thank god you can still get a boner. Mr. Green

Laughing Yeah really. It was just a deeply introspective and depressing moment when I posted that.

Sam Dunn makes some bad ass metal documentaries. They don't pander, and show metal fans to be the intelligent bunch many of them can be.

I love Motorhead but they're too simplistic to be the best. Maiden is without a doubt the best followed by Judas Priest and Black Sabbath. The 3 metal Gods. Everyone else is an imitation.
