| God, I wish Sommers didn't direct this. Maybe it'll be dumb fun. I'm leaning towards just dumb. |

| what's with the accelerant suit things, I really don't remember that from the cartoons... I'm not saying that the movie has to stick exactly to what the cartoon did but that stuff it right out of left field and not to mention looks silly. |

| Is there any other reason to see this movie besides Storm Shadow vs Snake Eyes? |

Sienna Miller and Rachel Nichols in skintight leather?
Other than that, nothing really.
Maybe Joseph Gordon-Levitt playing this guy...
And yes, that's how he'll look in the movie. _________________ "I hate all sports as rabidly as a person who likes sports hates common sense." - H. L. Mencken

He was the perfect choice for this film. The intelligence of the source material or should I say lack of, matches his stunted brain.
If I had to choose between watching every single one of Uwe Boll's movies and watching Van Helsing once, I'd choose Boll.
As long as this loser stays away from the good properties, I'm a happy camper. |

| Say what you will about Sommers, but I have a soft spot for Deep Rising and The Mummy Returns. He's no Orson Welles, but at least he's better than *shudder* Paul Anderson. The suits do look stupid as hell, but we don't know how much of the film is based around them yet. I might plunk down 5 for a matinee just to see big things go boom. And The Baroness. The Baroness gives Frank a boner. |

The Baroness = HOT.
Deep Rising is Sommers' best film. Nothing he's done has ever matched up to the level of that film. _________________ "I hate all sports as rabidly as a person who likes sports hates common sense." - H. L. Mencken

Then you obviously didn't read the comic book. No, my guess is you think GI JOE begins and ends with the terrible TV show. Which means you're incredibly ignorant on the matter, which, considering what you said in the quote, is all kinds of ironic. |

Deep Rising, yes. Because it's actually a good monster movie. Everything else he's done after, ESPECIALLY The Mummy Returns earns a special place on my list of "worst movies I've ever seen" list. |

| Don't blame us. The movies earned our hate all on their own. |
