here's a pretty good run down of what harper's island is all about. I love that the cast doesn't know who the killer is!

Creepy & I will for sure. We're suckers for this type of show. But I've heard it helps to take notes during the first few episodes just to keep all the characters straight since there are so many.

I think we'll DVR it and watch it in one shot like we've been doing with ER and Supernatural this year and have done with Pushing Daisies last year. Helps kkep the characters and story lines clear.

Also, it's on at 10pm and as I get up at 5-5h30 every morning, there is no way I can stay up to watch it when it's on.

I'm going to check it out.....unfortunately I have a spotty attention span, so if it doesn't hook me in the first 15-20 min I might start channel flipping.

Katie Cassidy looked quite fetching. Hell, so did all of the females. But seeing Katie here made me remember just how much I miss her portrayal of Bella on Supernatural.

And speaking of Supernatural, it's nice to see Jim Beaver in this. He's great as Bobby in that series and I look forward to learning more about his police chief character in this series.

Harry Hamlin got halved. Interesting.

I guess if you want to have a scary TV series/movie, you've got to have a creepy little girl. It's a red herring, though, as is the focus on Christopher Gorham's reserved brother. GASP! He has tattoos! He *must* be the killer.

Richard Burgi - go-to guy for nefarious goings-on.

I know it's early yet but any thoughts or ideas on who might be the culprit?

I don't know if I'm hooked but I love the premise. Don't see how this can be a series though...How many murder mysteries can take place on one island?

I rather liked it. Yeah, it had more stingers than Haunting in CT, but it was still cheesy fun and different from the typical TV fare. I'll miss HH, though. Sad He was perfect for that part!

This really reminded me of April Fools Day(the 80's one) and some 90s slasher films. I'm interested so far.

Exactly what I thought, which is why I'm interested. April Fools Day is one of my favourite slasher films. I remember being a kid and seeing it with a HUGE group of friends. They were acting up in the theatre because that's what hormonal kids do when girls are around. This may be self-damning, but I got up and moved away from them to watch the movie. After they asked me why I moved and I told them that I actually went to the movies to see the movie. I'm a weird one, I know.

Damn kids.

I agree on both counts. April Fool's Day is vastly underrated. And you've got to love that ending! Smile
