The Batman: Damned comes to a conclusion in the third issue, which goes on sale this Wednesday. To whet your appetite as to what’s to come, we’ve been given an exclusive preview, which you can see below. Let’s just say that if you’re a fan of other DC characters, those who have serious horror connections, this issue is going to put one helluva smile on your face!
The first series published under DC Black Label, which allows writers/artists to create unique storylines specifically intended for mature audiences, Batman: Damned is written by Brian Azzarello with art by Lee Bermejo. The series began in September of last year and has been met with controversy and delays. The third issue was originally slated to come out in January but has been pushed back a total of five times. That said, the quality and detail is almost certainly worth the wait, as readers will see once they get their hands on it.
A hardcover collected edition is scheduled to come out later this year, in September.
