Godzilla Goes to the Movies in Hilarious KING OF THE MONSTERS Promo

You often hear nonsense about movie stars not watching their own films, but that clearly isn’t the case with Godzilla. A new promo video released by Legendary Entertainment shows the iconic monster strolling into his local multiplex to purchase a ticket for his latest blockbuster, King of the Monsters. And naturally, he buys a large tub of popcorn along with it, which he unfortunately ends up dropping. We’re just surprised the actor in the suit could even grip anything to begin with. Due to the size of the suit, Godzilla also has trouble using an escalator and is forced to take the stairs instead. Which was pretty hilarious.

Either way, Godzilla then sits down to enjoy his new movie, only to be distracted by an idiot on their phone. There is a special place in Hell reserved for people who talk on their phones in movie theaters, so please don’t be one of them. With that said, you can enjoy the promo below.

Godzilla: King of the Monsters opens on May 31, and if you haven’t already purchased your ticket, you can do so here. The film was directed by Michael Dougherty and stars Kyle Chandler, Vera Farmiga, Sally Hawkins, Millie Bobby Brown, Ken Watanabe, and Bradley Whitford. And while we won’t go into spoiler territory, we will say that you will want to stay until after the credits end. Just trust us about that.
