my favorite movie
Clifford Worley: You're Sicilian, huh?
Coccotti: Yeah, Sicilian.
Clifford Worley: Ya know, I read a lot. Especially about things... about history. I find that shit fascinating. Here's a fact I don't know whether you know or not. Sicilians were spawned by niggers.
Coccotti: Come again?
Clifford Worley: It's a fact. Yeah. You see, uh, Sicilians have, uh, black blood pumpin' through their hearts. Hey, no, if eh, if eh, if you don't believe me, uh, you can look it up. Hundreds and hundreds of years ago, uh, you see, uh, the Moors conquered Sicily. And the Moors are niggers.
Coccotti: Yes...
Clifford Worley: So you see, way back then, uh, Sicilians were like, uh, wops from Northern Italy. Ah, they all had blonde hair and blue eyes, but, uh, well, then the Moors moved in there, and uh, well, they changed the whole country. They did so much fuckin' with Sicilian women, huh? That they changed the whole bloodline forever. That's why blonde hair and blue eyes became black hair and dark skin. You know, it's absolutely amazing to me to think that to this day, hundreds of years later, that, uh, that Sicilians still carry that nigger gene. Now this...
[Coccotti busts out laughing]
Clifford Worley: No, I'm, no, I'm quoting... history. It's written. It's a fact, it's written.
Coccotti: [Laughing] I love this guy.
Clifford Worley: Your ancestors are niggers. Uh-huh.
[Starts laughing, too]
Clifford Worley: Hey. Yeah. And, and your great-great-great-great grandmother fucked a nigger, ho, ho, yeah, and she had a half-nigger kid... now, if that's a fact, tell me, am I lying? 'Cause you, you're part eggplant.
[All laugh] |

"Now the first time you kill somebody, that's the hardest. I don't give a shit if you're fuckin' Wyatt Earp or Jack the Ripper. Remember that guy in Texas? The guy up in that fuckin' tower that killed all them people? I'll bet you green money that first little black dot he took a bead on, that was the bitch of the bunch. First one is tough, no fuckin' foolin'. The second one... the second one ain't no fuckin' Mardis Gras either, but it's better than the first one 'cause you still feel the same thing, y'know... except it's more diluted, y'know it's... it's better. I threw up on the first one, you believe that? Then the third one... the third one is easy, you level right off. It's no problem. Now... shit... now I do it just to watch their fuckin' expression change." |

| If Tarantino would have directed this, it would be my favourite Tarantino film (By direct I mean his name instead of Tony Scott's...I don't think he could have done a better job...) |

Love this movie. In fact, I live next the comic book store Christian Slater worked at.
The Dennis Hopper/Christopher Walken scene is one of the top moments in film history. |

One of my favorite non-horror films of all time. And one of the most quotable (as evidenced above ) . . . .
"I'm the Anti-Christ. You get me in a vendetta sort of mood, you can tell all the angels in Heaven that you never saw Evil so singularly personified as you did in the face of the man who killed you."
Classic.

I love this movie. I use to watch all the time when I first got it in 95/96 on vhs. _________________ Threw you the obvious. And you flew with it on your back. A name in your recollection. Down among a million, say: Difficult enough to feel a little bit. Disappointed, passed over. |

Couldn't agree more with all that's been said above.
I remember going to see this on whim openning wekeend in 1993. Just thought the tv spots looked cool. I remember seeing the "Written by Quentin Tarrantino" and sat straight up because it was just recently that I "discovered" Reservoir Dogs for myself a few weeks before on video and I knew the movie was going to kick ass.
This one never gets old.
BTW, anybody see Domino? Did anybody else think that the Mexican-standoff in the climax was exactly like T.R.'s. It was as if Tony Scott was bored and couldn't think of anything original. _________________ Open your textbooks to the chapter concerning your death. |

I just recently got the special edition dvd. It was 10 bucks so I had to. _________________ Threw you the obvious. And you flew with it on your back. A name in your recollection. Down among a million, say: Difficult enough to feel a little bit. Disappointed, passed over. |
