On Sunday March 22nd, Madison Horror presents the Jason Unmasked Tour at the Annex located at 1206 Regent St. in Madison, WI. FIRSTJASON, a punk project by Ari Lehman, who played the first Jason Voorhees in the horror cult classic, "Friday the 13th" (1980) has emerged as a force in Horror Rock. Punk rock, inspired by the Dead Kennedys and The Misfits, punctuated with searing guitar, edgy bass lines, and hard-hitting drums, are masterfully blended by this superb singer, songwriter, and keyboardist. This three piece band features Nefarious on bass from the much acclaimed band Macabre and drummer Amit Cleaver of the Cromags.

Ari will be doing autograph signings and photo ops at the show as well as throwing out Jason masks to lucky crowd members. We will also be raffling off Friday the 13th collectibles at the show. First Jason will be joined by Killer Dolphin With Rabies and the Wake.

The doors for this ages 18+ event open at 6 PM with a special screening of Viscera films at 6:30. The Viscera Project was created by women to facilitate the advancement of females reaching for more powerful roles within the horror genre. Now, more than ever, women are running their own horror production companies and directing, producing, writing, branching out into cinematography and even creating special FX. We will be screening three films that won the 2007 Viscera film festival. The featured films are It’s my Birthday directed by Shannon Lark, The Cleaner directed by Michelle Fatale and When Sally met Frank directed by Victoria Waghorn.
