So far this season rocks. The two parter in the middle of the season was kind of weak (specifically the second episode was awful) but everything else has been great. The comedic episodes have been hilarious, they've had some decent atmosphere and gore in a few eps. The mythology is expanding and getting more and more interesting, the characters are changing and developing. Barry Bostwick's guest spot was great, he was fucking awesome. The episodes have all been pretty interesting and original. Alastair is a great villain, and I hope he shows up again later on. I don't have any real complaints. I wish there were better action sequences, it's as if they don't have the money for a fight choreographer.

I agree but also found myself feeling very old...

I also concur the action sequences are a bit lacking....but I figure as long as they keep up going inot more mythology I will live

It's two episodes in a row that the boys had someone else pull their ass out of the fire.

Still, the siren episode was great. But now is hiatus time and I'm sad.

Yeah, hiatus pisses me off.

The Winchester boys finally come back on March 12th. If you haven't seen it yet, check out the trailer for the new ep on http://www.cwtv.com/shows/supernatural. It looks awesome!

It's torture, I know.

Based on the preview, it looks like the boys will be dealing with Alistair for the time being. I hope he makes a power play at Lilith. Sam affecting her and not him could mean that he's a stronger demon than she is.

I miss Maid!Ruby. She was sasha fierce. Genevieve Cortese just cannot nail the character, in my opinion.

P.S. I just remembered that Secretary!Ruby and Miss Bulimia from Boogeyman 2 are the same person. That makes Secretary!Ruby pretty nifty.

So...opinions on the return?

I thought it was a very strong episode, nice nods back to the mythology etc.

I also thought the last guy to play Alastair when *****SPOILERS*** he was killing the reapers ****END SPOILER**** pulled him off amazingly well....almost a carbon copy of the first time we saw him.

I thought it was pretty good too.

SPOILERS:

I was just hoping that the dead kid would have been more involved, kicking badguys asses since he had all the skills. As a writer it irks me that so often the main characters have to be completely involved in every aspect of events. Why can't they be side-lined and have a secondary character bust some heads? Then again I'm kind of a logic Nazi....

I really liked last night's episode. I like how they are showing that the angels are what they really are and not the hallmark fluffy wing version everyone seems to think they are.

Loved last night's episode. Definitely getting a Prophecy vibe from this season with the angels being not all good guys. I have a feeling we're in for one helluva finale!

But I still can't stand the new Ruby.
