Ozzy Hospitalization Update: Things Were More Serious Than First Reported but the Worst is Over

A few days ago, we asked our readers to send positive vibes to pioneering heavy metal vocalist and Black Sabbath frontman Ozzy Osbourne after it was reported he had been admitted to a Los Angeles hospital with a sever case of the flu compounded by bronchitis. It was such a dangerous combination of ailments, Ozzy was forced to cancel the European leg of his No More Tours 2 tour.

Since then, information regarding Ozzy has been hard to come by, but the intrepid reporters at Rock Feed gave us a full update, embedded at the top of the article. In a nutshell: It sounds like Ozzy’s condition was worse than previously revealed; he was at risk of contracting pneumonia and, for a while, was on an assisted breathing apparatus.

Now, however, Ozzy’s wife Sharon has stated that the worst is over, and he’s on the mend. We’ll still be sending positive energy his way, but it’s good to know Ozzy is out of the woods. As this is an evolving situation, we’ll keep you updated as additional details emerge. Stay tuned!
