| I managed to get a copy of the second season of F13. I've never seen the show before. Will I be able to understand it just watching this season, or is it recommended that I track down the first one? |

I think every episode had a short synopsis of what the back story is.
Just rent the first season through Netflix.
Damn, I haven't watched this show since it was on the air way back when. |

It currently airs on Chiller; they're having a marathon on Friday, February 13th.
