Where Is It Now? Collection Complete Unearths The Saw from The Texas Chainsaw Massacre 2!

In 1986 it sliced and diced its way through the The Lone Star State (and yuppie Texas-OU fans alike), but where is Leatherface’s saw now?

Unearthed by the docu-series Collection Complete (which takes an in-depth look into the lives of filmmakers and artists and the collections that fuel their work, as presented by Gemr.com, an app and platform for collectors worldwide), the screen-used saw resides within the rarely-seen collection of Convention All Stars creator Sean Clark, and is showcased in the series’ latest episode, which you can now watch below.

A deep dive into his life-long fascination with horror, the episode (co-directed by Dread Central’s own Sean Decker, who created the series along with producer Carlee Baker) focuses on not only Clark’s acquisition of the infamous saw, which is signed by TCM2’s Bob Elmore, but also the creation of Clark’s own original show, the popular film location docu-series Horror’s Hallowed Grounds.

The first of many (future episodes are set to showcase other items in Clark’s jaw-dropping assemblage, from the only surviving Wayne Doba-worn monster masks from 1981’s The Funhouse to the Resonator prop from the 1986 film From Beyond), we’ll be bringing you upcoming episodes of Collection Complete here at Dread Central as the year unfolds.

What’s more, for the next two weeks, those who create a free account at Gemr.com’s horror club will have a chance to WIN a The Texas Chainsaw Massacre 2 Prize Pack, which features one personally signed copy of The Texas Chainsaw Massacre 2 Collector’s Edition Blu-ray from Shout!
