Kôsuke Suzuki's Stop the Bitch Campaign (Enjo-kôsai bokumetsu undô) - a.k.a. "Stop the Bitch Campaign 3" - is scheduled to be screened at this year's Yubari International Fantastic Film Festival (Yűbari Kokusai Fantasutikku Eigasai) - "YIFFF" for short - in Hokkaido, Japan on February 28th.
The screenplay for Stop the Bitch Campaign (Enjo-kôsai bokumetsu undô) was written by Jun'ya Katô, based on the eponymous manga by Hideo Yamamoto and Tetsuya Koshiba. The movie stars (listed order corresponds to order on official subsite) Rio (viewer discretion is advised), Mayu Sugano, Emi Hirai, Yui Nakanose, Sachiko Kurosawa, Chinatsu Kido, Kenji Ezure, Gorô Kataoka, Kyônosuke Hanai, Takeshi Ônishi, Ryôta Matsushima, and Ken'ichi Endô. Yoshihiro Nishimura was responsible for its special make-up effects.
Here's a description of Stop the Bitch Campaign from the YIFFF website: "Following 'Stop the Bitch Campaign' (2001), 'Stop the Bitch Campaign: Hell Version' (2005), this is the t[h]ird version of the series which its rabidity and excitement got a strong support by the fanatics. The third-generation of her[oine] is played by No.1 sexy idol, Rio. Her rival named Kuni is played mysteriously by Kenichi Endo who also played the same role at the second version. The original work is written by Hideo Yamamoto who wrote 'Homunculus' and Tetsuya Koshiba who wrote 'Tennen Shojo Man'. The director is Kousuke Suzuki who has directed the second version."

| Excellent news! I love both the original film and its over the top sequel, so with the director and Kenichi Endo back this should be great. It should be said, though, that only the first film was based on Yamamoto's manga. It followed the manga pretty closely and covered everything up to the ending. |

Excellent news! Their subs for STBC: HELL VERSION were a bit on the incomprehensible side but it's still bound to be an improvement over the unsubbed Japanese DVD.

Despite the weird title, what Unicorn Entertainment just released in Hong Kong is the original film from 2001 and NOT the third installment from 2009.
Subtitles for the feature are hilariously bad but still a big improvment over the "fansub" script that's been floating around for years. The making of docu and trailer from the Japanese DVD are included on the Hong Kong release but are not subtitled at all, neither in Chinese nor in English. |

A number of prominent retailers are marketing Stop the Bitch Campaign: Version 2.0 as the third Stop the Bitch Campaign movie...

| I know... They were probably given wrong information by Unicorn Entertainment. |

Stop the Bitch Campaign: Version 2.0 initially was falsely advertised as being a release of Enjo-kôsai bokumetsu undô (2009); in reality, it's a re-release of Enjo-kôsai bokumetsu undô (2001).
Unicorn Entertainment International is scheduled to release Enjo-kôsai bokumetsu undô (2009) on DVD (NTSC, region-free, English subtitles) in Hong Kong on December 22nd, under the title "Stop the Bitch Campaign: Final"; the DVD is available for pre-order from DDDHouse.com for only $9.23 U.S..

| I had my fingers crossed all this time that they'd release all 3 films eventually. Thanks for the heads up! The release date seems to have been pushed back a week to December 29th, however, and my copy hasn't been shipped yet. |
