“The year of the shooter” some people are calling it… and not without good reason. Along with the big well-known titles in the genre coming to PCs and consoles this winter, you’ve got a number of lesser known but highly promising looking titles coming, too, such as Blacksite.
If you didn’t already check out the impressive demo of the title on Xbox Live, Midway today released some new screenshots and a trailer to try to get those that couldn’t or wouldn’t play the demo to jump on the hype train.
A sci-fi/horror piece, the trailer focuses on action, action, and more action, showing some of the game’s bigger enemies and moodier locations. I may have already played through the rainy town in the demo, but it’s still impressive in motion.
The squad based alien invasion FPS is heading to PC, PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 in late October in Europe and early November in North America.
