Official ALIEN Tweet Suggests New Multi-Platform Series Featuring Amanda Ripley!

Who is Amanda Ripley? We’ll find out in 2019!
We’ve been hearing rumors of a TV series based on the Alien franchise (launched by Ridley Scott in 1979) for months now. Recently, though, we’ve seen movement on a few different fronts, all suggesting something big is in the works. First came a series of “Dossiers” (via Instagram) detailing the illegal activities of Weyland-Yutani Corp (link below). All included the hashtag #AmandaRipley.

Now, a new message from the official Alien Twitter account suggests a multi-platform series featuring the daughter of Ellen Ripley is on the horizon. It poses the questions: “Who is Amanda Ripley?” It also tells us at least some of the answers: She’s a daughter, a rebel, and a hero. Also: “Her story deserves to be told…” Most intriguing, though, is a message at the end of the message:
“Read. Play. Watch.”
What does this suggest? In my expert opinion, it means we can expect a new comic book series or novels featuring Amanda Ripley, a new video game, and a TV series. Damn. Check it out for yourself below:
