Liking the Foo Fighters is a lot like scratching my balls in public. I know I shouldnt but as a guy I'm really helpless not to.
I should really hate this band but I cant. My lady is a Dave Grohl fanatic, and I have to admit even when Im pissed at her, I still find myself listening to these hacks. I know they are just another chickieband band with above average songs but for some reason I keep coming back to their music time and time again.
I can fight to compulsion to really get into similar hack bands like Seether and Nickelback so why not the Foo Fighters?? Does anyone else have this problem? |

Have you heard that rumor making the rounds about him drumming for Zep on this tour they're considering? How fucking bad ass would that be? |

The Foo Fighters are a chick band? I've never heard them referred to like that. I think they're awesome -- even better live than on their albums -- but then again, I'm a chick so what do I know?

i dont see whats so bad about that he is a real good drummer... also i used to like foo fighters when i was 13 14 15 but really only their first two albums.... thier latest one really hurt my ears.. |

1) The Foo Fighters are awesome. Do not believe me? Go listen to "The Colour and the Shape" (their by and far best album) and tell me I am wrong. Every song on that album wreaks of awesome.
2) The beginning of their new single "Let it Die" sounds a lot like Goblin's "Black Forest." Thus, they have vicarious horror cred.
3) The band is awesome. |

Not a fan of nickleback, seether is decent, and I honestly can't take foo fighters. Sorry Conundrum, I respect the band, but it's just not my bag.

I like Foo quite alot. The Color and The Shape is one of the most amazing albums I've ever had the pleasure of owning.
Please dont put them in any league that Nickelback is in. That's just wrong on so many levels.
What is it about them that would make them considered to be hacks? I dont follow your logic on that at all. |

| I was also sucked into the foo void by my wife. She is obsessed with this band. I always liked a few songs, but never could understand the obsession. In February we went to their show in Detroit and they were one of the best live bands I have ever seen. So I became a real fan that way. Now I'm not as bothered by my wife's obsession, and only get annoyed by certain songs. I think their new album is their best one. |
