Exclusive MEGAGHOST and GRUMBLE Covers Are a Wicked Delight!

In 2019, Eric Powell will be bringing back his iconic comic character Goon through his publishing company Albatross Funnybooks. It’s a home for Powell’s character as well as a place for him to help cultivate and curate incredible and unique artists and their stories. To that end, we want to help make you aware of two of these titles by revealing their covers, which you can see below!

The first cover we’ve got is for MegaGhost #3. Written by Gabe Soria with art by Gideon Kendall, the cover, done by Gideon Kendall, is what I imagine Battletoads would look like had they brought some more ‘roided up animal/human hybrids to the party.

In issue #3, “MegaGhost is Dunwich Heights’ only defense against evil…or is it? The arrival of the Familiars, a mysterious coven of witchy mechs, means that Martin Magus and MegaGhost have competitors for the mantle of top supernatural heroes of the city, but can the rivals resolve their differences in time to face another monstrous challenge from the villainous UltraGhoul?

Moving to Grumble, we’re showing off the cover for issue #4, which was drawn by Mike Norton and Marissa Louise, as well as its variant. The main cover shows a spectacular car crash but the variant is where it’s at. Folks, there’s a dog wearing a birthday hat! What more do you need?

In issue #4 of Rafer Roberts’ series, “Eddie and Tala are getting the hell out of Baltimore, but Baltimore isn’t through with them yet! Can our heroes survive a breakneck car chase through the city, pursued by fascist inter-dimensional warlocks, gun-toting maniac mobsters, and a trio of mystical bounty hunters? Buckle up, Grumble fans, and get ready for the most magically destructive ride of your life!
