Inkshares Contest Seeks New Horror Novelist to Publish! Find Out How to Enter

Are you an aspiring horror novelist looking to break into publishing? Have you penned a terrifying manuscript that you’re ready to unleash upon the masses? Our friends at Inkshares are having a contest to identify the next potential Stephen King; the winner will see his or her novel published and promoted by the company. Here’s the full scoop:

Join fellow novelists in submitting your partial or finished manuscripts to Inkshares’ Mystery-Thriller and Horror contests, running through November 21st and December 15th, respectively. At least three novels per contest will be chosen for publication and representation.

Over the last two years, Inkshares has cemented its position as a marquee publisher in horror. Just last year, Scott Thomas’ Kill Creek was selected by the American Library Association’s advisory committee as the horror book of the year, shortlisted for the Bram Stoker, termed “the horror debut of 2017” by Barnes & Noble, and is in development for television at Showtime. Also last year, J-F. Dubeau’s A God in the Shed, the first book in the series, was selected as a Barnes & Noble Best Horror Books of 2017 pick and runner-up for the American Library Association’s Horror Book of the Year. It’s currently being adapted for television by Skydance.

Inkshares books have garnered starred reviews in every publishing magazine, features in major publications including USA Today, The Washington Post, and The New York Times, awards from organizations including the American Library Association, and have reached the global top-five most-sold books. Inkshares’ novels have been licensed in foreign territories alongside top-of-market advances and are in development for television and film at top networks and studios.
