First Look: Stephen King’s PET SEMATARY (2019)

Kevin Kölsch and Dennis Widmyer’s remake of Stephen King’s Pet Sematary will be hitting theaters this April and today we have your first look at the film via EW.

The film is directed by Kevin Kölsch and Dennis Widmyer from a screenplay written by David Kajganich and Jeff Buhler, based on the novel by Stephen King. It stars Amy Seimetz, Jason Clarke, and John Lithgow and produced by Lorenzo di Bonaventura, Steven Schneider, and Mark Vahradian.

The remake hits theatres on April 5, 2019.

Synopsis:

Based on the seminal horror novel by Stephen King, Pet Sematary follows Dr. Louis Creed (Clarke), who, after relocating with his wife Rachel (Seimetz) and their two young children from Boston to rural Maine, discovers a mysterious burial ground hidden deep in the woods near the family’s new home. When tragedy strikes, Louis turns to his unusual neighbor, Jud Crandall (Lithgow), setting off a perilous chain reaction that unleashes an unfathomable evil with horrific consequences.
