CLIP: Michael vs Laurie in Blumhouse Halloween

Blumhouse’s direct sequel to John Carpenter’s Halloween will be upon us this, you know, Halloween. And today we have a clip from the film via the powers that be over at EW.

It’s called “Michael Attacks Laurie” and it goes down about just how you would think. We’ve already seen pics from this scene released (see above) so it’s kind of a bummer knowing where this quick peep is going.

All the same, give it a peek below and then make sure to hit us up and let us know what you think in the comments section or on Facebook, Twitter, and/or Instagram!

The article also asked Curtis how Laurie’s changed over the years:

You know, Laurie Strode was 17 years old, she was an intellectual, she was a very smart student,” says Curtis. “And she has this horrible experience perpetrated upon her by this random act of violence. The woman we meet in 2018 is someone who has suffered tremendous PTSD, suffered a trauma that no one addressed in her life. In 1978, there weren’t trauma therapists descending on the town of Haddonfield to counsel and comfort the victims, the survivors of this violence. She never recovered from it, and the woman we meet is someone who has now spent 40 years waiting, knowing that this man would come back.”

Halloween is directed by David Gordon Green based on a script he wrote with Danny McBride. Jamie Lee Curtis returns as Laurie Strode as does Nick Castle as Michael “The Shape” Myers. They are joined by Will Patton, Andi Matichak, and Judy Greer. Halloween creator John Carpenter is on board as executive producer and composer.

The anticipated release date is October 19, 2018.

Synopsis:

Jamie Lee Curtis returns to her iconic role as Laurie Strode, who comes to her final confrontation with Michael Myers, the masked figure who has haunted her since she narrowly escaped his killing spree on Halloween night four decades ago
