Check Out the Stunning IMAX Poster for THE HOUSE WITH A CLOCK IN ITS WALLS

Eil Roth became a bonafide, 21st Century Master of Horror as a director and producer of enduring and inspirational genre offerings like Hostel, Hostel: Part II, Clown, and The Green Inferno. Most recently, however, he’s been spreading his wings, moving into horror-adjacent territory in order to seduce a wider population of moviegoers.

His last film was a remake of 1974’s hard-boiled revenge thriller Death Wish (released earlier this year with Bruce Willis in the lead role) and his next film, hitting theaters this month, targets a younger generation of potential horror fans: A House with a Clock in Its Walls is based on the novel by John Bellairs. The latter promises to be his most mainstream offering to date, but genre fans are still receptive, as horror aimed at pre-teens is enjoying a resurgence in general.

We just got a look at the IMAX poster for A House with a Clock in Its Walls, haunting US theaters beginning September 21st, and it’s stunning! Have a look at the bottom of the article, below the synopsis and trailer for the movie (which stars Cate Blanchett, Jack Black, and Lorenza Izzo).

Synopsis:
Ten-year-old Lewis goes to live with his uncle in a creaky old house that contains a mysterious ticktock noise. When Lewis accidentally awakens the dead, the town’s sleepy facade magically springs to life with a secret world of witches and warlocks.
