For your viewing pleasure, tonight we have an After Dark Horrorfest double feature!

First, at 7pm Pacific, 8pm Mountain, 9pm Central, and 10pm Eastern, we'll be watching a movie, filmed on the lowest of low budgets, that went on to win awards from various genre film festivals, including the Toronto After Dark Film Festival and Fant-Asia. It was featured as an After Dark Horrorfest film for 2007 and it's one of the best "Outbreak" films I've seen in awhile. (Certainly better than Diary of the Dead)

As an epidemic of violence spreads across New York City, a group of people in a rundown apartment building do their best to survive the night and avoid infection.

Dread Central Cinema

presents...

And it has rats, too. Mr. Green

Don't have the movie? No problem. Just CLICK HERE.

Then, after a short break, at roughly 8:30pm Pacific, 9:30pm Mountain, 10:30pm Central, and 11:30pm Eastern, we'll be watching a movie by the director of the infamous and controversial short film Aftermath.
It's creepy and atmospheric and probably the best of the first round of After Dark Horrorfest movies...

An American woman searching for her birth parents learns she has inherited a house in the middle of a forest in a remote area of Russia. It is the house where she was born. Abandoned and uninhabited for 40 years, it stands in total disrepair and neglect. There she meets a mysterious man claiming to be her twin brother and together they find the house holds dangerous secrets to a past they don't even remember. They are forced to relieve a series of horrifying events and shocking murders that occurred just after they were born, and in the place where they were supposed to die.

Don't have this one? That's not a problem either. Just CLICK HERE or HERE if you don't mind spanish subtitles. (I prefer the megavideo links.)

Then, if anyone is up for it, maybe we'll throw on Postal just to make Lee happy. Rolling Eyes

not bad, good enough to keep me watching, but if I didn't have a DVR I probably wouldn't go out of my way for it.

I like it so far. Very X-Filesish, but with more silly faux science. I like all that crazy stuff though. It's like the things I read about in Fortean Times.
