Okay, a friendly little question-If you had an unlimited bankroll(as well as the ability to persuade objectionable persons to contribute fully) who would be in your dream line up of performers? Please don't include yourself into this or persons who are deceased.
Sonny Gaunt's line-up #1
David Bowie-Sax
Tod A.-Bass
Fyfe Ewing-drums
Billy Duffy-lead guitar
Steve Jones-rhythm guitar
David Gilmour-vocals
The Sultanas-backing vocals
Piano/string arrangement-Jim Stienmen(sp?)
Produced by-Bob Erzin('natch)
Whadda you think? And what's a dream line up of yours? |

| David Gilmour is an amazing vocalist but he's the best guitar player ever! |

Seriously?
He is one of the worst bass players I've ever heard.
I was at a Korn show, and Fieldy came out to do his "Bass Solo"
It was fucking amateurish. It sounded like a kid just picked up a bass guitar and started plucking randomly at the strings for five minutes.
I'm surprised everyone there didn't just bust out laughing at him.
That guy is a joke. |

I like Korn's riffs.
Both of them... |

Korn just takes a riff, and repeats it throughout the whole song.
Static-X does the same thing.
My fantasy band would be:
Phil Anselmo from Pantera
Pepper Keenan from Corrosion of Conformity
Jimmy Bower from Eyehategod
Kirk Windstein and Todd Strange from Crowbar
But I don't have to dream. This band is already well established.
