Barry Pepper Joins Alex Aja and Sam Raimi’s CRAWL

Director Alexandre Aja (High Tension, The Hills Have Eyes) and producer Sam Raimi (The Evil Dead, Drag Me to Hell) are teaming up on a new horror thriller called Crawl starring Kaya Scodelario.
And today we have word via THR that Barry Pepper (Stephen King’s The Green Mile) has joined the cast as well.

Aja wrote the most recent draft of the script, which was initially penned as a spec by Shawn and Michael Rasmussen. Raimi is producing with Craig Flores.
The project is already in production.
Synopsis:
Crawl centers on a young woman who, while struggling to save her father (Pepper) during a Category 5 hurricane, finds herself trapped inside a flooding house and fighting for her life against Florida’s most savage and feared predators.
