Looking ahead to Thursday and Friday, November 10th and 11th, The CW has just released plot outlines for “The Vampire Diaries” Episode 3.09 – “Homecoming”, “The Secret Circle” Episode 1.09 – “Balcoin”, and “Supernatural” Episode 7.08 – “Season 7, Time for a Wedding!”. Read on for all the details.

The Vampire DiariesEpisode 3.09 “Homecoming” (11/10/11 Air Date; 8:00-9:00 PM):
ROCK BAND MY MORNING JACKET PERFORMS — On the night of the Homecoming dance, Rebekah (guest star Claire Holt) opens up to Elena (Nina Dobrev) about why the evening is so important to her, leaving Elena with conflicting emotions.

Caroline (Candice Accola) and Matt (Zach Roerig) are both shocked at Tyler’s (Michael Trevino) behavior throughout the evening.

The night takes a surreal turn when Klaus (Joseph Morgan) puts his latest plan into action. Determined to outsmart Klaus, Damon (Ian Somerhalder) enters into a dangerous partnership, leading to a terrifying turn of events.

The band My Morning Jacket performs in the party scenes. Paul Wesley and Kat Graham also star.

Joshua Butler directed the episode written by Evan Bleiweiss.


The Secret Circle
Episode 1.09 “Balcoin” (11/10/11 Air Date; 9:00-10:00 PM):
FAYE STIRS UP TROUBLE FOR CASSIE AND JAKE — Cassie (Britt Robertson) and Jake (guest star Chris Zylka) look into her father’s side of the family, hoping to discover more about her lineage and why she has powers separate from the Circle.

Meanwhile, Adam (Thomas Dekker) becomes protective of Cassie when Faye (Phoebe Tonkin) reveals that Jake might be hiding something dangerous from them. At the same time, Adam’s equally concerned when Melissa’s (Jessica Parker Kennedy) cousin Holden (guest star Arlen Escarpeta) comes to town and catches Diana’s (Shelley Hennig) eye.

A power shift forms between Charles (Gale Harold) and Dawn (Natasha Henstridge) that threatens to destroy their plan.

Brad Turner directed the episode written by Andrew Miller and Andrea Newman.


Supernatural
Episode 7.08 “Season 7, Time for a Wedding!” (11/11/11 Air Date; 9:00-10:00 PM):
HERE COMES THE GROOM; PLUS DJ QUALLS GUEST STARS — While on a hunt, Sam (Jared Padalecki) runs into someone from his past, and a confrontation ensues. Meanwhile, Dean reluctantly teams up with a quirky, laid-back hunter named Garth (guest star DJ Qualls) when he finds himself in a situation that he just cannot explain. Tim Andrew directed the episode written by Andrew Dabb and Daniel Loflin.
