As we enter the month of October and the countdown to Halloween begins, the next five weekends of B-Sides will be devoted to sufficiently ghoulish soundtrack songs/music videos perfectly in tune with the spirit of the season. What better to begin with than The Ramones performing the theme song to Stephen King’s Pet Sematary?
Fans may be divided over the actual quality of the 1989 movie adaptation of King’s bestselling novel, but one thing that cannot be debated is the awesomeness of The Ramones’ “Pet Sematary” song. This is truly a B-Sides that does not, should not, require any further introduction.
From the motion picture of the same name, here are The Ramones performing the theme to Pet Sematary, a song that will almost certainly be butchered by some vastly inferior rock band when Hollywood finally gets going on the frequently talked about remake.
