Looks gay. I'm sure it won't last becasue it looks too much like Iron Man's getup.

This is month 5. I'm sure they'll switch back next summer when the movie is released.

Looks like a mix between Ultimate Iron Man and Spider-man 2099.

Considering the Super-Hero Civil War storyline, I'm sure there'll be some plot thread that reveals that Tony Stark installed some eavesdropping tech in that new suit he built for Spidey. That'll be the excuse for going back to the classic red-n-blues.

I like the Civil War story line. Looks like they're taking a stab at writing a new chapter much lik ewith the black suit during the Secret Wars.

For those who didn't know Peter Parker just came out in the comic book world and told everyone that he is indeed Spider-Man

What a terrible design, placed within a horrible drawing.

1. What the fuck is the tentacle penis thingy coming out from between his legs. Now that Peter Parker has "come out" to the world, does that mean he is going to be doing hentai with Mary Jane and the corpse of Gwen Stacy? That spider arm is distracting, and poorly placed. I cannot believe that a Marvel visual editor let such a thing get past the drawing board.

2. Does anyone know how to do proper dynamic shading? Look at the foot in the lower left corner. The shading is so bad that the form of the foot is so easily lost within the context of the color scheme. The problem is compounded by the horrible ankle dynamics at work just above the foot. Is Peter Parker now part of the Plastic Man family? Or did the artist of the front page have to fit all of the man's form on the front of the page. The turn is not only visually distracting, BUT is physically impossible. The joint is set way too high.

Single worst design and presentation since the development of the Spider-Armor years ago, but at least that issue has a cool metallic cover Rolling Eyes

Taking a look at the last page of "Civil War" #1 (the checklist), i would say that the new suit is gone by the end of Civil War. My prediction is the Spidey flips, gives up his shiny new suit, and tries to make things like they were. But with the Vulture (or maybe another villain) probably helping to remind him why he had a secret identity all these years.

I'm not crazy about it, but hopefully will see the red and blue suit next year. Although can anyone explain to me how those metal spider legs come out of nowhere in his suit?

I don't think the suit is all that bad.
