Grindhouse’s Planet Terror Score Hits Vinyl

Grindhouse’s Planet Terror soundtrack hits on vinyl for the first time this Saturday via Varese Sarabande. The LP is pressed on opaque white vinyl and limited to 2,000 copies.

Rose McGowan sings on three tracks exclusive to this soundtrack with the majority of the score composed by Robert Rodriguez with contributions from Graeme Revell, (The Crow, Sin City), Chingon and Nouvelle Vague.

The film was written and directed by Robert Rodriguez and starred Rose McGowan, Freddy Rodríguez, Josh Brolin, Marley Shelton, Jeff Fahey, Michael Biehn, Naveen Andrews, Nicky Katt, Tom Savini, Michael Parks, and Bruce Willis.

The score will be hitting vinyl for the first time ever on Record Store Day April 21.

Synopsis:

An ordinary evening in a small Texas town becomes a grisly nightmare when a horde of flesh-eating zombies goes on the prowl. Cherry (Rose McGowan), a go-go dancer, and Wray (Freddy Rodriguez), her ex-lover, band together with other survivors in a no-holds-barred effort to escape the carnage. The odds become a bit more even when Cherry, who lost her leg to a hungry ghoul, gets a machine-gun appendage and lets the bullets fly.
