Eric Stonestreet, American Horror StoryMore casting news for yet another guest star on FX’s upcoming “American Horror Story” came out over the weekend, this time involving a very familiar face for fans of situation comedies: Eric Stonestreet, who plays Cameron on ABC’s hit comedy “Modern Family” will be appearing in a November episode of “AHS”.

According to EW.com Stonestreet’s character is a patient of Dr. Ben Harmon (Dylan McDermott). The reason for his shrink session? A fear of urban legends like Bloody Mary and, more importantly for the show, Pigman. Stonestreet worked with “American Horror Story” showrunners Ryan Murphy and Brad Falchuk previously on “Nip/Tuck” as a death row inmate.

“American Horror Story” revolves around The Harmons, a family of three who move from Boston to Los Angeles as a means to reconcile past anguish. The all star cast features Dylan McDermott (“The Practice”) as “Ben Harmon,” a psychiatrist; Connie Britton (“Friday Night Lights”) as “Vivien Harmon,” Ben’s wife; Taissa Farmiga as “Violet,” the Harmons’ teenage daughter; Jessica Lange (Tootsie, Blue Sky, Grey Gardens) in her first-ever regular series TV role as “Constance,” the Harmons’ neighbor; Evan Peters (“One Tree Hill”) plays “Tate Langdon,” one of Ben’s patients; and Denis O’Hare (“The Good Wife”) as “Larry Harvey.” Guest stars for the series include Frances Conroy (“Six Feet Under”) as the Harmons’ housekeeper; Alexandra Breckenridge (Dirt) as the Harmons’ housekeeper; and Jamie Brewer as Constance’s daughter.

“American Horror Story” is set to premiere on October 5th on FX and will run Wednesdays at 10 PM ET/PT. In the meantime visit the show’s Facebook page along with “American Horror Story” on FX, where you’ll find some exclusive extras you won’t see anywhere else!
