Exclusive: Mysterious Magic Pervades Throughout The Endless

Next week will see the beginning of the limited theatrical rollout for The Endless, the latest film from filmmaking duo Justin Benson and Aaron Moorhead (Resolution, Spring). A movie I called “…hypnotic“, The Endless is one of those films that you wish you could unsee just to experience it all over again. Combining elements from their previous films, Benson and Moorhead forge bravely into a world where nothing is quite as it seems and where reality is malleable. Frequently terrifying and undoubtedly hypnotizing, it’s a film that I cannot recommend seeing on the big screen enough.
Today, we’re incredibly excited to bring you an exclusive clip from the film where we see Justin conversing with a cult member who wants to show him some magic tricks. The tension is palpable although it’s nothing compared to the illusions that he’s being shown. Is magic something real? Is there some sort of strange force surrounding these people? What is this world that seemed so normal but now feels completely alien?

As the members prepare for the coming of a mysterious event, the brothers race to unravel the seemingly impossible truth before their lives become permanently entangled with the cult.”
Directed by Benson, who also wrote the film, and Moorhead, the films stars the directing duo alongside Callie Hernandez, Emily Montague, Lew Temple, Tate Ellington, and James Jordan.
