I never got to see this in the theater, but my friend did and I remember I cut out the newspaper ad for the movie and made him tell me all about it. I waited and waited and waited and they we rented it as soon as it came out and I finally got to see it..

I got to see it as a kid (I think three times total) but I would love to see this now on the big screen. At a midnight show or something.

I was probably 10 or 11. Maybe 12. We used to have to wait a long time for these things to make it to video.

Gozer was originally going to be played by Paul Reubens, who turned down the role. In the original script, Gozer appeared as a normal man in a business suit.
