As gentle a scene as this whole country travel part is, I could've gone for a rage zombie horse. More so if it were being ridden by a zombie viking.

Might as weel send out bits of trivia. The group of actors that play the soldiers were all given a 3 day boot camp to learn how to act and carry themselves.

Also: Robert Carlyle was offered the role of Major West. Nice to note since he pops up in the second movie.

I like this movie quite a bit. A whole big lot, in fact, but I still bristle at all the reviews that claimed it was so fresh and new and original, since so much of the scenes in this movie seem identical to scenes in Day/Dawn of the Dead.

I did not know that. Carlyle was great in Ravenous. I agree!

I can't remember for sure but I think Doyle said he intentionally did that. I could be wrong.
